I really don't want to get in on this, but do you mean to say that you
converted an FF to a 6 speed?  I have one in my 16v now temporarily and it
really bites.   The 2nd ratio of 2.12 or whatever is really high.  All the
gears are too far apart.  I guess it must be really regeared!
