[tech] [tranny swaps] [A2 to A1]

My turn to ask a question:

If I take a 9A tranny from an A2 GTI for transplant into my Scirocco -
can I use the linkage from my old FF tranny
 - or are there other complications involved?

(please ignore the output flange issue - I have this covered)

I assume the linkage for the A2 is useless for an A1 application.
