16v exhaust manifold

   While replacing my oil soaked distributor, I noticed a crack in my exh.
manifold. Anyone have one they want to get rid of? Will any 16v manifold
fit a Scirocco? Has anyone had any luck welding cast iron? I had one
mechanic suggest replacing it and the downpipe with a Brosal header.
