floormat thingie

I bought a set from the dealership for my previous '82 about 10 years ago;
in addition to fitting perfectly, they had a woven nylon strap sewn to the
center of the trailing edge of the mat, with a snap fastener at the free end
which attached back to the mat.  You looped this around the base of the
center seat mount to prevent the mat from sliding forward.  It worked great;
any chance the intended manufacturer of this project could add such a
feature?  I'd buy a set even without, mind you, but hey....
