thermal time switch resistance for 8v motors

  Anyone know the resistance between the 2 terminals on a thermal time
switch when cold and hot.  BTW, this is for an 8v motor.  I take it that
when cold it should be low resistance, if not closed, then when hot it
should be infinite resistance, or open.  TIA..
