Scirocco GTX's

Hi all,
I've just seen an ad for my dream car - a 1989 Scirocco GTX, very low mileage
(49000!!!) at a decent price, just wondering if anyone can clue me up on them,
anything I should look out for etc.  If I was to end up with this car, would
that make me the owner of the youngest car on the list (in terms of miles!)???
