The 924 Carrera GT, the "LeMans" street version you're talking about, had
the 2.0 liter, just like the normally aspirated one.  210 horsepower from
the factory, as opposed to the 125 the non-turbo euro versions put out.  The
"normal" turbo motor, like you are set to transplant, was rated at 170 hp.
If this powerplant can be adapted to fit in your Scirocco (transmission
setup is vastly different), the power will be lots of fun, if you can endure
the turbo lag from that big K26!
