Take the accelerator cable off, hang it up and squirt WD40 down between the
cable and the sleeve. Leave it to hang for a while and that should free it
up. This assumes that your cable is the problem. Could be that the
throttle action on the carburettor or throttle body, if it is FI, is stiff.
