Swapping an 86 engine into an 81 is cake.  Just use all the bolt on 
goods from the 81- the motor mounts, distributer, etc.  Actually I am 
doing the same thing tonight, except the donor motor is from an  87 
Fox.  The only difference I have from you is that I need to also swap 
the oil pan and oil pump, because those damn Foxes have the motor 
sideways.
