Re: any experiance with Yok. auto-x tires?



These are the tires i use for slaloms.  Yoko A008 RSII's.  A good tire, and
from what i've heard, better for slaloms than the newer A032R.  Anyway, you
could run them on the street if you wanted to (it's fun), but they will
wear like hell on a day to day basis.  And pray you never get cought in a
heavy rain storm.  Sometimes when i'm too lazy to change tires after a
race, i'll leave them on for a week if i have an event the next weekend (i
don't really do a lot of commuting), and they hold up ok, and are fun on
the on and offramps :)  

Brand new, they aren't actually as bad as you would expect in the wet, but
after a few races, there is nowhere for water to go.
