Goddamn motherfu**ing piece of lousy over engineered german piece of
shit, I oughta scrap the **** *** ***** ** ***** ** ***** *...
I never got a chance to seriously thank those who replied to my posting
about how to go about changing this thing.
thanks, really.
But, how is the heater core box mounted? I couldn't for the life of me
figure that out.
Second, I think one of the sets of instructions was w/o air
conditioning, correct? 'cause the air-conditioning tubes go straight
into the box, for those of you who might not know, how did you get to
ignore them?
I remember a tip on possibly cutting a whole through the heater box on
the drivers side. I almost did, out of spite, but I'd prefer to keep
this car looking pretty. I'm thinking I might take the car over to a
friend and have him drain the A/C. It doesn't work anyway. Then I
could go ahead and disconnect the tubes/hoses/piping and then take the
core out, etc., etc.
Finally, the replacement core I got had the in/out receptors orientated
180 degrees, this is going to make a difference right?
Sorry to ask so many inane questions but after several hours of
bafflement, I just need to get to firm ground again.
I'm angry, and annoyed.
I'm going to bed.
oh yeah, it's an 84 Karmann with A/C.
