getting the green film out is easy, once apart just take a 
screwdriver and poke at it from the back and get some needle nose 
pliers and yank it right out, white doesnt look too bad, I had it
like that after I put on my infamous Brett V. Tornado Red gauge faces
and its like at night, they would GLOW red it looked so cool
(but not as cool at the new passat lighting!!)
