finally I forgot to mention :
all first series GTX (1983/84) in Germany had:  
two front wipers
vented front disks
chrome VW-badge in the grille
1.8 l engines
the carbs had 4+E transmission
the injectors had 5 speed transmission
1984 they changed from big spare wheel to small wheel
were available in montego-black metallic or gold (like Lauri's)
