I believe(but could be wrong) that 1.6's and 1.7's used the same cyl 
head.

 1.7, how's $50 sound? Dunno if I can get you a 1.6 head, don't know 
if they're different. If you can put a 1.8L cylinder head on, you 
might get better flow. Does that work, list? If so, I'll sell you a 
1.8 head for $50.    -Josiah
