Re: F*#king Theives!
Nearly two years ago, my fresh-out-of-the-box Pioneer CD unit was stolen
out of my Scirocco while parked in the driveway. Of course, my Father had
left the door unlocked (but he did put on '"the Club"), and I had left the
face-plate tucked securely in the glove compartment. I called the police,
and the officer who showed up said they had arrested four guys *that night*
(after they broke into a car, ran because of alarm and owner, and returned
ten minutes later..) who had a bunch of radios and other stuff. Next day I
went down to the station, saw they had my stereo (!), and made a statement.
I didn't get it back for nearly 11 months because of burecratic red tape
and people's extended vacations (?), but I learned my lesson!
