No way dude, I already invented that word. (newness= MINE!) : )
No matter what the tire brand a 225/40/16 as a rain tire wouldnt be that
great of a tire. The width just wont allow for good sheeting of the water
like a skinny tire would.
Ive never driven on as wide of a tire like my 195/50R15's before so whne
it rained here for the first time with this wide of a tire, my thoughts
of a hydroplaning happy tire kept my driving in the rain much more
mellower than I would normally drive. They're not bad in the rain, not
great either. Better than I had anticipated. Any kind of standing water
(1/8" + ) would lift the tire off the pavement at highway speeds. Not my
idea of fun.
