[Waterfest 98 video][seen it?]
Uh, well, im disappointed. The car show stuff was cool. They make it
obvious that if you don't have a VR6, you suck. They doted on a crew from
Florida which irritated me for some reason. "<Q> How long did it take you
to drive here"? <A>"24 hrs". <Q> Wow that's a long drive"!
<ME> "Screw you. 24 hrs aint shit. try 36 hours from the other coast,
beich"! : )
They did spend some time with the VR6 Scirocco owner. That was cool and
most worthy. Extremely clean car. I wish I had seen it at the show!
The Mad bastards G/F is in the beginning. She strips off her shirt to
reveal her VW emblazoned logos on her bikini cups! Very cool, I want one.
There are at least, lots of Scirocco's in the video. Not all are shown in
details, but there's a cool montage of cars driving by. I kinda zoomed
thru the video to get an idea as to what was on the thing. They did show
the Potterman on one of his autox runs. (4rd ES place I think? Why not
show the 1st 2nd & 3rd place cars of each class? there's a concept.)
I didn't see any of us (Scirocco list members that is.) on it until the
end (excluding the above mentions). The Potterman/woman are saying
goodbye to Eric Soltwedel. (Potterman: So, ya heading back to cali"?
Soltwedel: <Shakes head violently. Distinct rattle is heard>.) Cool
finish as they are almost all of them wearing "the shirt". :)
Anyone else got/seen it yet? Me thinks I wont be making a return trip.
They did nothing to make me want to return. I'll just save my cash and
wait for the next video. MUCH cheaper. :)
