Coilovers, yes.  you can use your current shocks and get a ground control
(www.ground-control.com) coilover kit, comes with eibach springs, any rate
you want.  Or go with 16" wheels, and 40 series rubber.  my friend has a
rabbit that runs on these, 205/40/16, they look very nice on that car. 
makes the wheels look bigger too.
