Ya know, I sat in a 98 Passat last year at the Houston autoshow, and that is
the only thing I can remember about the interior of the new passat.  I remember
how tacky the wood grain loked in a VW

I am a big fan of the solid matte black look myself...... kinda industrial /
futuristic.....

I thought it was the first VW to come out with it tho... guess I was off 20
years....
