Go for it. I used it on an old Audi 100 I had. It had pinhole sized rust spots
from sitting under a tree for a year. I applied it w/ my finger and wiped away
the excess. Held up through the next rainy season without any further work.
Looks like Elmer's glue but dries mostly clear. Will discolor the paint job if
left to settle. Makes the rusty spots a black inert metal.
I'll be looking for brand names to post. Would really be interested in a
metallurgist's experience with what the active ingredient might be.
