Relays (again)

I'm getting ready to install my euro lights on my 16v.  I've decided to
go with 3 relays, one for each filament.  From the various posts and web
pages I've read concerning this, I was wondering, can I ground the
lights to the ground terminal on the relay and send that to the negative
post???  Or do I  need to ground the lights and relay separately???
