You need to disconnect the cables from the rear brakes. I think if it
were me, id remove the cable from the car entirely and while im checking
for freeplay, id grease them up a bit. I dont think the brake cables have
the teflon inserts in there. Anyone know?
Have you gotten under the car and have someone else pull the brake
handle? Look and see if both of the rear caliper levers are moving. Spin
the rear wheel to see if the brakes are engaged by the parking brake.
