Dave all Scirocco's are A1 chassis.....we like to designate around here
the 75-81 Roccos as Mk1's and 82-88(US anyway) as Mk2's.....Everyone else
in the world calls em Scirocco 1 and Scirocco 2....(BTW rabbits/ early
jettas/ carbiolets were A1's as well) A2 started with the new 85 model
golfs and Jettas....A3's are the newest models
