I had the similar problem on my 81 rocco. I simply sealed the windshield
gasket by putting black silicone underneath the gasket. I'm not sure how
the windshield is set on later scirocco's but on mine, a gasket is holding
it in place (as opposed to the windshield sitting on the glue and rubber).
E-mail me if you want specifics on how I did it.
