Thats OK, i know how you feel, but I think you are in luck. sounds
like you do have the mounting plates. They are the metal(unpainted) plates
that mount to the body, and then the headlights mount to them. When i first
got mine, someone wrote me telling me exactly how to mount them on.
Unfortunatly i erased that, but i remember he said that you just take the
old lights and plates off, and the new ones just screw right in with the
exception of one hole, that is moved for the euro style plates, but there
should be a hole allready drilled that you will see when you hold the plate
up the the position it should be in. You just have to move one of the
plastic screw back type things to the new hole(thats the best way i can
describe them). Sorry this doesn't make sense, but the best way to do it is
just hold them up to the car, and you'll see how they go on. i assume
you've taken the old backing plates off. If you havn't, that'd be the first
step. If it doesn't work, than maybe you did get them from a bus.

Thanks, but i'm in the process of sending them back. My euro light
dilema is a ling story, but i have many reasons for sending them back,
cracked lights, missing mounts...
hope that helps. Write back if there is something i didn't
make clear.
