fuel lines

I am going to look for fuel lines when I go to the 'pick-n-pull' and want to know if A2 fuel lines will fit on my Scirocco 8v.  Are the A2 lines the same length as the A1s?  I was puttiing new top injector seals in yesterday and noticed that 2 of the lines were a little beat up.

BTW how long are those seals supposed to last?  The ones I pulled out were hard as rocks, and I got the skinned knuckles to prove it!
