1) Standard Maintenance Items: (it seems all of these were long overdue)

Installed White Gauge Kit (From Brett Spewenberg)

3) PITA stuff.
All the running adjustments, the seats sound like they're trashed, power
steering sucks (my opinion) geez!
CONCLUSION:
Keep this in mind : your car was HEAVILY ABUSED by it's former owner(s).
Knowing all this, I would have paid somewhere between $200 and $500 for
this car. 20-20 hindsight sucks. Assuming the body is straight and clean,
once you fix all of the NEGLECT (which caused 90% of your problems) - you
will have a car that will be pretty reliable and low maintenance.
This has been my experience in 21 years of driving Sciroccos.

frightening considering it still does not run right and is still on
