A buddy put one in his g-60 corrado. About a week after he installed it,
his car caught on fire in his driveway. The insurance adjustor said that
the fire started from a resistor pack in the jacobs system. Jacobs of
course refused to admit fault, or even refund his money, but sent him an
"updated" ign. system. it's still hangin in his garage, he's afraid to
install it. 

I'd avoid jacobs.
