Check the scirocco.org website for a how-to on the special tool
for
getting the strut nuts off. I used a milled down socket with a 22mm
crescent - my friend had to hold them while I stepped on the wrench - the
strut nuts were pretty tough.
I don't know if you are replacing only the cartridge or the whole kit. I
was doing cartridges only this summer and didn't even try to remove them
myself - had the old cartridges replaced with my new ones for like 5$ or
something at a garage. Somethings are just not worth doing yourself (IMO).
