any of you guys remember potterman's results?  if i recall correctly,
he dynoed his mk1 and got one hp value.  then he dynoed the car with a
chopped up 'box.  i believe that he saw an increase of 7hp.  these are
the results of an 8V motor that is of course packed with all sorts of
mods.  food for thought, nonetheless.
