Re: more damn fuel questions
This is the way to do it:
1. remove one injector from the engine.
2. remove the air intake boot from the top of the fuel distributor. Underneath
you will see the air sensor plate, with a 13mm bolt in the middle.
3. Jump the fuel pump relay so that the pump runs.
4. Pull up the air sensor plate by the 13mm bolt in the middle. I'm usually
able to do this with my fingers without putting any sideways pressure on it,
but some people prefer to use a magnet
Fuel should spray out of the injector when you do this. The air sensor plate is
what monitors air coming into the engine under normal circumstances, and the
more air that comes in, the more fuel it sends to the injectors. If no fuel
comes out when you do this, you have a problem. See what happens and take it
from there.
