Scirocco Gauge Question

    My cluster just went under on my 85 8v. I  know a junkyard near here
that has a couple of 84's in it. Will the panel out of an 84 work in my
85, or is the wiring different? I know it looks exactly the same, but
you can't judge a book by it's cover..
