I'm sure someone else has replied by now, but it never hurts to be through.
If it's a 'feed' line from the pump, it's somewhere in the neighborhood of
50psi (40-60 depending on how healthy your pump is). I've fixed problems
like yours in the past by cutting the line at the bad spot (spraying gas,
take the usual precautions). Then I'll sand off the rust around the
break, both parts. Slip on some fuel injection hose, available at your
favorite auto rip-off store, with a pair of small hose clamps on each side
of the break (4 total). I try and make the two metal lines meet in the
middle of the rubber fuel injection hose 'band-aid'. Tighten the clamps,
but do not crank the shit out of them as they'll start to cut into the rubber
line which is bad. If you get special fuel injection clamps it won't but
that's a story for another time...
I've driven for years on cars fixed in the fashion, it's probably not
permanent, but it's sure cheaper and easier then a new fuel line.
