You get a Bentley, pref. a Haneys as well because they add insight and
different pictures to augment the Bentley, and if you can find one, you pick
up a copy of Muir Press, Poor Richard's  How to keep your Rabbit ( Jetta,
Scirocco ) Alive.

The short answer is-
by supporting the engine while you unbolt the tranny from the block, mounts,
and axles. 


The important question is why is it stuck in 2nd and what have you
done/diagnosed/noticed/, how did it happen?
