you know, for all my paranoia, mechanics are people too.   Many just
don't know, many are just stupid, but many are outstanding.   Shall we
try to share _good_ Mechanics shops for the rest of us who've had
nothing but frustration?   I'll start.
I highly recommend Gorsche Bros. here in minneapolis. Volkswagen man on
Hennipen Av. close to downtown, and Rayvic here on East Hennipen.
I would strenuoulsy disreguard, Como Imports on como and fifteenth Av
SE.
I like Gorsche 'cause there's this little german guy who runs around the
front of the shop saying things like, "don't worry, if we can fix it
we'll charge you.   If we can't..." then he shrugs and mentions some
other shops.   Unlike Como imports which has been known to charge people
$1000 bucks and then tell them that their problems are can't be fixed.
