Re: [non rocco] real muscle (definately non-rocco)
Close, but not quite right. The TR-8 used an aluminum 3.5 litre V-8, which
was originally a Buick design. Rover did purchase the design and tooling
from GM and still uses an evolution of this engine in the Land Rovers and
Range Rovers. I do believe that the English company TVR also uses engines
evolved from the original Buick design. The TVR Cerbera 4.5 gets 420 bhp
out of a 4.5 litre V-8 and will out accelerate a Viper GTS!
