why not splice a Scirocco over a Porshe 928 chassis (it's been done with
an A1 Golf)?

Just about anything you can imagine . . . has already been done.

What's the relevance? The result is not really a VW . . .

How about other bizzare engine swaps? Anybody? I once saw a shitbox
Volvo with a 350 in it. What about a Rocco with extensive frame
modifications and a Lotus V8 in the REAR? That would kick ass!!!!
