neutral dropping will destroy your transmission. A guy I know used to swear
that it wouldn't hurt his tranny on his brand new neon, and even after
EIGHT transmissions replaced under warranty (they wouldn't replace the 9th)
he still claimed ' it doesn't hurt it'. uh huh.. He's that kind of person..

It also broke a band in my mom's Dodge Aries tranny too.
