RE: Power Sunroof?
Well, to remove the piece of my headliner that around where the
sunroof is, I removed the two visors, the sunroof handle (to reach the
screw behind it) and the little cap and screw (the one I just mentioned)
that holds the center of the headliner to the roof. However, this isn't
necessary to work on your sunroof anyway, as all the adjustments can be
done with my opening the sunroof into the UP position, and working on
the screws from there. Anyway, that's what you'll have to do to fix
your problem. Open the sunroof into the fully raised position, and find
the adjustment screw on the inside. You'll have to do this from inside
the car.
Whichever side is low, loosen (don't remove) the screw that
holds the sunroof up on the rail/guide mechanism. It helps to have
someone help you, but if you use your head (literally), you can raise up
and hold the sunroof in place while you tighten the screw back up.
Don't over tighten it, or the sunroof won't slide back into the roof, as
the lip will get caught. It's a small adjustment. Let me know if you
need more info...
