Power Sunroof?

Hi everyone,

*ARG*  I hate being Sciroccoless!  One and a half weeks in the bodyshop,
and I'm going nuts!  To hell with this Diesel Mercedes; I want my VeeDub
back.  (actually, I saw it the other day with its second coat of paint ...
yum yum ...)

Anyways, This Mercedes I'm driving has a power sunroof, and I'm hooked. 
I've taken apart my sunroof enough to know what the crank mechanism looks
like ... is there any motor assembly that will fit in its spot?  I have
heard varying rumours that the motor from an early model (4000 or 5000 or
GT) Audi will fit in there ... but I haven't found one in a wrecker yet to
tear apart.

Someone else was asking about this, and I didn't see any responses ...
just wanted to bring up the issue again.
