I don't know.. its a good question... and unfortunately all we have to go
on is pretty much just anecdotal evidence... I guess this is where
synthetic oil comes into play.
I figure tho, i'd rather have fun with my engine (i.e. redlining) and have
it last 300,000 km, than baby a car and have it last 500,000km... I mean,
most American/Japanese cars don't last past 250,000km up here (canada)
anyways...
