If you decide to go original, get the kit of off a wreck Scirocco.  I
Installed mine in 90 minutes.  The gas lock is not removable from the car. It
is riveted in.  I got both doors and the hatch.

Alex, Check out the pick'n'pull on Sunrise.  When I was there a few months ago
they had two Sciroccos.  Both had power door locks.  Or I should say one of
them has it now.  That's where I got mine.  Paid only $8.00 for the whole
thing.  The pick'n'pull is on Sunrise south of hwy 26? The freeway going to
Tahoe.  It's on the left side of the road.
