OK, Thx- that's plain enough.

I'm looking for a 2.0 bottom end. I have a 10:1 bottom end that could a
reconditioning. (RD) And I have an '84 GTI with the nice top end. In fact I
only bought the GTI to become a Scirocco donormobile.

Question is: What about swapping heads and blocks from a solid lifter and a
hydro lifter?  Or vice a versa? What is entailed in the mix and match?
