Sounds like the AMP.
This happened to my mom's stock radio in her van - exact same symptoms, played
but no sound.... took it out, checked it in another van, same prob, tested the
speaker connxions with my radio - worked fine...
debated - spend $150 on repairs, or spend $150 on a brand new one with detach
face, and neat little flashing lights - guess which she chose?
Hooked up the new radio when I was home on vacation - found out she had
speakers in the rear of the van ;-)
hehehe - if you only got a couple days of radio play for the first time in 2
years, maybe it is a sign.....
