I had a customers car that I treated with slick 50.
A couple of months later she had some monkeys change the oil.
A week later she was driving the car to work and the oil light came on.
She had no clue what the light was.
She drove the car between Trenton and Burlington FOR THREE DAYS AT 30 MILES AT
SPEEDS OF 60MPH.
She finally stopped in one Friday to have me look at the light.
A opened the hood and checked the oil.
None on the dipstick. Okay so I go and get a quart of oil and pour it in.
Check the dipstick again. NO OIL. So I go a get another quart. Check the
Dipstick. NO OIL STILL Get another quart of oil and pour it in. Check the oil.
NO OIL okay this is an old 77 Rabbit with 120,000 miles it only takes 4
quarts. I lean down and look underneath and ....well the 3 quarts of oil are
on the floor! The drain plug fell out!
This freaked me out. This car NO freakin oil in it and runs great! I yelled
for the boss and showed him we both didn't beleive it. So any ways we put in a
drain plug and 4 quarts of oil. and let the car go. And get this we bought the
car a few years ago, and it still around, runs like a top and has never had
and internal engine worh not even a valve job. The car has 289,567 miles on it
now.!!!
just thought I'd sare and if no one like it TUFF!!
