HELP!!!!

Bum deal here guys....well after driving my car for a week, I spun a rod
bearing, my local shop refuses to fix it, says it will just do it again,
they want me to put in a new(used) motor, but I really kinda liked this
engine.... 

Shawn, what did you do when you spun yours?? Did you just fix the bearing,
if yes have you had any problems???

I'm too broke to drop in an engine, unless someone here on the list feels
like getting me a good low mileage 1.8 8v for REALLY cheap......HELP!!!!


Eric......feel my pain, I have been damned to the Honda(of course, very
fitting) Moped.....50cc of power!!! WHOOOOO 30mph here I come.....GOD THIS
SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
