Actually a buddy told me to check a local wrecker...Central Foreign, the
guy had a 2 page list of 1.8's to sell, and damn good prices too...

No, the motor was an 86 Cab, 10:1 pistons, 84 Gti "big" valve head(so I've
already got the good head....).....
