Does it vary with the engine speed?  If so, check all your vacuum 
hoses.  Sure you didn't have your window open a teenie crack?  If 
only that was it eh?  Try to explain more specifically as to speed, 
if it happens when not moving, what gears it does it in, if the noise 
and vibration varies with engine or car speed, etc.   It's tough to 
diagnose even with a good description........HTH.
