Its not a low grade from what I've read, but rather they added some sort
of sulphur to it that will induce headaches so that people don't buy it for
huffing purposes. They have that info in the NOS literature I believe(pulled
apart a kit at work). On motorcycles, the NOS bottle is mounted in plain
view usually. I always thought it'd be funny to add a (nonfunctional) line
going from the bottle to the riders helmet, just to freak people out:)

NOS is kinda lame for home use IMHO. It seemed marginally popular with the
high school crowd, since whippets(a small NOS cartridge) were at the time
legal in Florida, and people would buy them and bring them back to GA. I
never cared for it, it seemed to easy to get a headache, even though it was
a medical grade they were getting.
Back to the subject, if you're gonna do one fogger nozzle, mount it
pointing directly at the throttle body, around 6 inches before the TB in the
intake tract. That may be a little tricky given the 16s intake. There have
been several good articles on NOS installs on 4 cylinders(mostly Hondas) in
Turbo & High Tech Performance. They made the above recommendations, which
to me does seem as though it will give you a more even distribuition. Note
that as the nozzle is moved farther away from the intake valve, the jolt to
the system is less severe. What I mean by this is the power comes on
slightly more gradually, which is a good thing for longevity of engine
components. I think it will still allow the same max power increase, its
just a bit more gradual. Its nice to have a knock sensing ignition when
doing this, but you still don't want to run more than stock advance, as even
one or two knock events before retard occurs can add up quickly if you're
doing it on the bottle.
And doing the calculations of 75lbs extra and 40hp extra isn't even
necessary. The 40hp will help way more than the 75lbs will hurt.
