Eurofest in G'ville (was Re: Post Malabu ...)

I made it to the BMW plant just before 1:00, and a ll the cars appeared to
still be lined up. The only Volkswagen I saw other than my own was an early
80's GTI that passed me as I left.

It looked pretty mucvh like a rerun of last year's show, only with fewer
cars. One woman had the nicest BMW 3.0 coupe I think I've ever seen; it was
perfect in every detail (even had "Ride of the Valkyries" playing on the car
stereo). There was also a little Beemer like I'd never seen before; it was
very small, and almost looked like a cross between a 2002 and a Karmann
Ghia. It had a rear engine, and may have been made of fiberglass on at
least some panels. I think it was billed as a 700 something-or-other.

Acres and acres of nicely restored Triumphs and Healeys, a few old Jags, a
slew of nondescript MGBs. A few Porsches, mostly of the 911 gene pool, and
a couple of Volvos. There were also a few slightly rarer rides, like a nice
TVR and Jensen-Healey (well, they're rare to ME).

I dunno; I was hoping for a little more variety. Apparently I missed some
rally of some sort, headed for a place called Churchill's Tea Room. When I
used to live there, the only Churchill's was a disco-ish nightclub. I'm
clueless.
